West Des Moines scrap is office copper and older-neighborhood plumbing

West Des Moines splits in two. North of the Raccoon and along the I-235 office parks, tenant build-outs leave cable, light steel, and the occasional copper ground. South toward Jordan Creek, retail refreshes and restaurant teardowns produce stainless, aluminum storefront, and mixed demo that should not be priced like bare bright.

The residential side is established: 1970s and 1980s houses with copper still in the walls until a kitchen opens up.
